Get a Copy ofYour Report

It is recommended that individuals check their credit files regularly to assure that information is correct and up to date. You can receive your free credit report from all three credit agencies (Equifax/Experian/TransUnion) all at once, but each report will be ordered and received individually allowing you to review specifically the information each agency is reporting. Rather than ordering all three reports at once, you may also order single bureau reports scattered throughout the year allowing you to review your credit history at different intervals during the year, but remember that each credit bureau’s information about you may vary. By ordering in intervals you will be able to review your credit history more frequently, but it is also possible that while the one file you are reviewing looks good, another file might reflect incorrect or fraudulent information. How you request your files is up to you, but you can only receive one bureau’s information once a year at no charge.
